在此又要跟常來這裡逛逛的朋友們說聲抱歉，最近忙著暑假旅遊規劃，有點焦頭爛額，許多想寫的心得都還沒寫呢（包括天才無限家、計程人生、美味情書、路邊野餐、死期大公開、、、等等）！還請各位見諒啊！＾＿＾
不過昨天我家那讀高二的老大做了一件很值得記錄的事情，她願意讓我跟大家分享，我也就在此讓這個園地有篇新文章滋潤一下吧！
事情是這樣的，我家老大昨天在學校參加英文演講比賽得了第一名，得了第一名沒什麼，因為全校只有四人參加＾＿＾，但是其中一位評審老師竟然聽她的演講聽到感動得哭了，這實在是太令人振奮及難忘了！
我家老大講了些什麼呢？他們的演講題目是「最令你印象深刻的新聞」，我家老大講的是一則與父母子女相關的新聞，最後引申到父母對子女的愛。而那位評審老師最近剛好生了小寶寶，她非常愛她的小寶寶，所以感動到偷偷拭淚。我家老大實在難以置信、當然也雀躍萬分。她很高興自己看這新聞的感動也感動了評審老師，也猜想自己的感性聲調有加分作用。：）

A week ago, a sixteen-year-old boy murdered his mother. The shocking incident made me think of a news story I read about a year ago, a story of an attempted murder and unconditional forgiveness.
In Georgia, Two boys at the age 17 and 22 put drugs in their parents’ drinks, dragged them to the garage, and tried to stab them to death. Fortunately, the mother managed to call 911 just in time. When the police arrived, they found a bloody scene inside the family's home. The mother was badly injured, and the father emerged from the garage covered in blood. The parents were in shock, with no idea why their sons did this to them, but they said their love for their boys wouldn’t change.
“We forgive our sons,” said the father, “we love them unconditionally. We have to make sure that they understand that to strengthen themselves. Our sons are no murderers.”
When the father spoke, I could see that he was hurt inside. But his eyes showed no hatred, only sadness.
That was the moment when I realized this news story was not about forgiveness, but about the greatness in every parent.
Parents have faith in their kids; they truly believe that there are kindness and beauty in their babies, even when they try to take their lives. This is certainly the strongest belief within and outside of the universe.
This is the most impressive news story I’ve ever read, for it showed the world parents' love, the most unconditional and powerful faith of all time.
我自己則是感到很欣慰，這孩子能這樣體會父母對孩子那種無條件的愛，我對她的教育應該不算失敗吧！：）
正好目前二輪戲院正在上映「不存在的房間」，片中的母親那種母愛也是相當驚人的。
